02 Speaking here
What speaking here involves.
Selected speakers get a two-day pass, hospitality, a speaker dinner and support preparing a first talk. Here is what to know before you submit.
-
Nobody is paid, on either side
There is no speaker fee or honorarium. The conference and organising team are volunteer-run too.
-
Travel and accommodation are not promised
Depends on the budget
The sponsorship-funded budget is not settled. If cost might stop you submitting, tell us early at [email protected], so we know who may need help. -
Recording is your choice
We plan to record where equipment allows. Accepted speakers choose in advance whether to allow a full talk on our official YouTube channel and short clips on our official social channels. Nothing is published without your agreement, and declining recording never affects selection. Read the recording answer.
-
The timetable is not fixed
TBA
The CFP lists format durations. Exact timetable slots, parallel sessions and room setup follow selection and venue planning. -
A first talk is a normal talk
First-time proposals get the same review as every other. Not having spoken before is not a mark against you.
Who decides
A review board of five volunteers, not the organising team and not sponsors. A sponsorship cannot buy a talk slot at any tier, and what happens when a reviewer has a stake in a proposal is written down rather than assumed.
The review boardThe audience you are writing for
400+ people across 2 days, and the room is mixed on purpose: students who have never been to a security conference sitting next to people who do this for a living. Pitch at the idea, not at the credential.
Running a workshop instead
Longer, hands-on, capped by the room rather than the hall. It goes through the same CFP with the submission marked as a workshop.

04 Questions
Asked before people submit.
Who is speaking at 0x03?
Nobody yet. Zero speakers are confirmed, nobody has been promised a slot, and this page is not holding a lineup back. The talks come out of the call for papers, which opens 25 October 2026 and closes 6 December 2026.
Is there a keynote or an invited speaker?
No. There is no invited headliner waiting to be revealed and no reserved slot for one. Every talk on the programme arrives through the call for papers and is read on the same terms as every other submission.
When is the lineup announced?
Everyone who submitted hears back from 11 to 15 January 2027. Speaker announcements begin 25 January 2027, after every submitter has been contacted directly. Nobody finds out they are speaking by refreshing a web page.
Who chooses the talks?
A review board of Five volunteers, not the organising team and not sponsors. Every submission is read by all 5 of them and scored against the same five criteria. A sponsorship cannot buy a talk slot at any tier.
Why is there no list of past speakers?
Two editions have happened, and reprinting those names here would dress this page up as something it is not. The attendance numbers for 0x01 and 0x02 are on the home page, where they belong.
How will I know when the lineup is published?
There is no mailing list to join. The announcement goes out on the four accounts in the footer and onto this page at the same time. If you submitted, your own answer arrives before either of those.
Who is in the audience I would be speaking to?
400+ people across 2 days, and the room is mixed on purpose: students who have never been to a security conference sitting next to people who do this for a living. Pitch at the idea rather than at the credential.
How do I get onto this page?
Put something in the queue. The call for papers is the only route, it runs on cfp.directory, and a clear idea in three lines beats a polished abstract that says nothing.
Speak at 0x03
The fastest way onto this page is to put something in the queue.
The call for papers has the whole of what we ask for, and it is shorter than most. A clear idea in three lines beats a polished abstract that says nothing.
